Community Code of Conduct

Date last updated: September 11, 2026

This Code of Conduct governs your behavior in the Overhaul game — including CB radio chat, avatars, display names/handles, and any other player-visible or player-generated content (collectively, "Community Content") — and applies to every player using the Service operated by Quiet Compute LLC ("Company", "we", "us"). It supplements, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Service.

1. Zero tolerance

Overhaul has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. This applies to every channel a player can use to reach another player — CB chat, display names, company names, and avatars — with no exceptions for "banter," context, or claimed intent.

We remove violating content and act against violating accounts without warning when the severity warrants it. Zero tolerance means a single serious violation (a credible threat, hate speech, sexual content involving minors, doxxing) can result in an immediate permanent ban — we do not require a pattern of behavior before we act.

2. What is not allowed

2.1 Harassment, hate, and threats

2.2 Sexual or objectionable content

2.3 Impersonation

2.4 Spam and cheating

3. Consequences

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in, at our sole discretion and without prior notice:

We moderate reactively (via reports) and, at our discretion, proactively (via automated filtering and manual review). A moderation action is not required to follow any fixed sequence — the consequence fits the severity of the violation.

4. How to report a violation

If you see content or behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, report it by email to [email protected], with as much detail as you can provide — the player's handle, the channel, the time, and a description or screenshot of what happened.

We review reports and act on confirmed violations. We do not disclose the outcome of another player's case, but we will confirm that a report was received and reviewed.

5. Appeals

If you believe a moderation action was taken in error, you may appeal by emailing [email protected] with your account handle and the reason you believe the action was mistaken. We review appeals but are not obligated to reverse any decision.

6. Relationship to other policies

This Code of Conduct is part of, and incorporated by reference into, our Terms of Service. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle the personal information involved in a report or moderation action. Where this Code of Conduct and the Terms of Service conflict, the Terms of Service control.
